Are you experiencing technical difficulties during the tests or assessments? This article will help you with a step by step troubleshooting!
Connection and technical issues that our talents encounter during assessments are often linked to local factors.
To help you optimize your assessment attempts, we have outlined a concise yet comprehensive set of troubleshooting steps below:
-
Check your internet connection/speed (minimum required 4MBps).
- Clean your browser cache/cookies and refresh the page before starting the assessments.
-
Take the test using a desktop browser (Our assessments are not designed for Mobile devices!).
-
Use a Chromium-based web browser (e.g. Google Chrome 74+, Microsoft Edge 79+) when taking the tests.
-
We suggest taking the test using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox as it has presented better performance than Chrome.
-
Deactivate any browser extensions (like Coding Assistant, Grammarly, etc).
-
Make sure that you are not in "Incognito Mode" or "Private Browsing" mode. (To jump out of incognito mode, press "Ctrl + N" on Windows or "Cmd + N" on Mac).
-
-
Screen, Mic & Webcam sharing (Mandatory, you can read more about it here).
-
Ensure to set the permissions on both the Browser and the Operational System!
-
This article will help allow the Turing engine to access your camera and microphone for usage during the assessments.
-
-
Don't use a VPN or any privacy/ad blocker or desktop third-party programs/apps.
-
Make sure you are not blocking the Web Socket connection (test here - https://websocketstest.com/ or https://libwebsockets.org/testserver/)
-
Try another browser, desktop/laptop, or internet connection.
