Project Offboarding
Last updated: May 8, 2026
When Your Project Wraps Up
Your contractual engagement has now concluded.
As part of the standard offboarding process, access to project tools like Slack and Turing email will be disabled shortly after the project ends.
Project closures may result from completion, scope or budget changes, or organizational decisions.
These do not affect your Turing status unless tied to performance or integrity concerns.
Next Steps
Kindly submit your final hours and deliverables by the specified deadline
You’ll hear from our People team shortly with details on closure or next steps.
Don’t forget to keep your Turing profile current — it ensures you remain eligible and ready for exciting new project opportunities ahead.
Types of Project Endings
1. Violation of our Terms of Service
Any attempt to falsify work or misuse AI tools may result in immediate contract termination and loss of payments.
Examples (not an exhaustive list):
Presenting AI-generated content as your own work.
Using AI to solve, explain, or evaluate assigned tasks.
Sharing prompts, datasets, or any client-related information outside authorized channels..
Consequences:
Immediate removal from the project that you're working with.
Non-payment for fraudulent submissions.
Permanent ban from the Turing platform and projects.
2. Performance Offboarding
Signs:
Delayed submissions or missed deadlines.
Substandard work requiring multiple revisions.
Lack of communication or responsiveness.
Corrective Action (if applicable):
A Project Lead may begin a trial sprint with defined goals and deadlines to assess performance.
Continued lack of improvement could result in contract termination.
Tip: Maintain open communication with your Project Lead. If you’re unsure about your performance or expectations, ask for feedback early to address concerns before escalation.
