Follow the steps below to set up your account and get started on Turing:

  1. Go to https://work.turing.com/jobs

  2. Enter your personal email

  1. A verification link will be send to the email that you're using to register and use for your first login

Eligibility Note: Mainland China residents are not eligible to apply to Turing. If you are located in mainland China, you will not be able to complete the registration process.

If you’ve already used this email before or changed it in the past, you won’t be able to create a new account with it. Instead, you can login or use the 'Forgot password' option on the sign-in page to reset your password and access your existing account. This also applies if you previously deleted an account associated with this email address — deleted account emails cannot be reused. Users in this situation may see the error message: "This email address cannot be used to register again. Please contact support@turing.com if you have any concern." When using the 'Forgot password' option to regain access, be sure to also check your spam/junk folder for the reset email if it doesn't appear in your inbox.

  1. Upload your updated resume in English.

    1. We’ll capture key details from the resume once uploaded (e.g., education, skills, etc.) to help pre-populate your profile.

Note: Uploading your resume during account creation only populates your profile — it does not automatically submit applications to jobs. You must separately apply to specific positions after your profile is complete.

Troubleshooting resume upload errors: If you experience network errors while uploading your resume, try using a desktop or laptop with Chrome, Edge, or the latest Firefox browser; disabling VPNs, ad blockers, and browser extensions such as Grammarly; clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reloading the page; logging out and logging in again; and ensuring that camera and microphone permissions are allowed for your browser and operating system.

  1. Fill in your basic information (name, location (country of residence), etc.).

    Important: Your eligibility is based on your current country of residence. Applicants residing in mainland China are currently not eligible to apply for Turing opportunities, so China is intentionally not available in the Country of Residence dropdown. Do not select a different country to continue registration if you currently live in mainland China.

    A valid passport may be accepted for identity verification, but your passport nationality does not override country-of-residence eligibility requirements during account creation.

  2. Add your educational background.

  3. Select your skills and languages.

  4. Provide any additional information about your experience or work history.

    Note: When entering years of experience, use whole numbers only (e.g., “5” not “5.0”). The field does not accept decimals or text descriptions.

  5. Submit your profile.

Troubleshooting Profile Submission

If the Submit Profile button appears disabled or unresponsive, follow these steps:

  1. Check each profile section for required fields or error messages that may be preventing submission.

  2. Scroll to the top of each section to check for any incomplete required fields.

  3. Complete the missing information and save each section before moving to the next.

  4. If the button remains unresponsive after verifying all fields are complete, sign out of your account.

  5. Clear your browser's cache and cookies.

  6. Sign back in using an updated Chrome browser.

  7. Try submitting the profile again.

Required fields checklist:

  • Resume is uploaded.

  • Basic information is complete.

  • The Education section has at least one entry.

  • The Work Experience section has at least one entry.

  • Skills are selected.

  • Languages are selected.

  • The LinkedIn URL is filled in, or the I don't have a LinkedIn profile checkbox is checked.

Browser compatibility:

  • Use a desktop or laptop computer with Chrome or Edge. Chrome is recommended for optimal functionality.

  • Avoid using mobile browsers, as the Submit Profile button may not function properly.

  • Disable incognito mode, VPNs, and browser extensions when completing your profile.

Once submitted, your profile will be ready — you can now apply for jobs and projects at Turing!
